The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology offers a myriad of board-certified physicians who provide general gynecology services to women of all ages. These services include:
- Preventive and well woman care
- Pap smears
- Colposcopies
- Advice regarding hormone replacement therapy for post-menopausal women
Some procedures are offered in your physician’s office, while others take place in the hospital and require you to stay in the hospital overnight. In addition to offering cutting edge procedures, such as minimally invasive surgery, our physicians and nursing staff are committed to providing you the highest touch in your care. On our Evanston campus, the Evanston Women’s Hospital provides a unique setting for you to recover from your surgery.
If needed, more specialized gynecologic surgical procedures are also available. Evanston Northwestern Healthcare offers specialized gynecologic care in gynecologic oncology, urogynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility services.
