The Child Life Program of Evanston Hospital

The Child Life Program is designed to help you and your child during the hospital stay. We hope this experience will be a positive one that can be integrated into your child’s life with ease. The staff of the Child Life Program works with the hospital medical staff to positively affect the treatment of the "whole" child. There are daily group and individual activities for all the patients on the Pediatric and Adolescent Unit. These activities are directed by the Child Life Specialist and accomplished with the help of university interns and volunteers.
