Your health information will be evaluated by an entire team of specialists who meet to discuss your test results and your treatment options. This team may include physicians on faculty at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital as well as the ENH family of hospitals. Each patient is given the benefit of not one physician’s opinion, but many. Every option for treatment--as well as options available only through approved clinical trials--are considered by your team.

At any point during treatment, any member of your care team can use our electronic medical record system to check test results and confer with other specialists. The end of the “overstuffed manila folder” method of medical recordkeeping means that patients receive quick, reliable answers to their questions about tests or lab results.

Your hematology team at Kellogg Cancer Care Center is led by Lynne Kaminer, MD, Chair of the Virginia and James Cozad endowment for Hematology/Oncology, and David Grinblatt, MD. Beyond their credentialing by top training programs, each has authored multiple publications and is involved in clinical research. Our team continues to build upon their body of knowledge by working in concert with other researchers and specialists nationwide.
