Resources & Support:

  • Orientation Program:  All Resource Team RNs undergo a   thorough orientation. They are introduced to new technologies, equipment, policies and procedures to get them ready for work on their unit.
  • Staff Support: As a member of the Resource Team, all nurses have a “go-to” person looking out for their best interest.  Our Clinical Director and Clinical Nurse Managers, Nursing Resource Team serves as a mentor who ensures they continue to grow their skills and talents.
  • Learning & Development:  Resource Team nurses have the opportunity to participate in appropriate development courses-ranging from how to improve communication skills to mastering Microsoft Excel..
  • Magnet Journey:  As part of the Resource Team, our nurses are integral to our magnet initiative. They participate in forums, committees and activities associated with the program.
  • Cross Training:  Resource Team nurses have the opportunity to cross-train in different areas. In fact, they are encouraged to do so.
  • Technology: Since we use all electronic records and charting, all new nurses undergo intensive training in our system.  They gain invaluable field skills and stay on the forefront of the most state-of-the art technology.
